LAND USE PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENTAL
- Preparation of application documents associated with real property subdivision, such as lot splits and mergers, parcel maps, tentative and final maps
- Preparation of project CC&Rs, Architectural Design Manuals, Mitigation Monitoring Programs, Vegetation Management Plans, etc. Incorporate project conditions and mitigations into these documents as required
- Analyzing, organizing and prioritizing conditions of approval for development projects
- Coordinate between lead agencies, responsible agencies, other consultants, and clients in the preparation and organization of CEQA and NEPA environmental review documents, including Environmental Impact Reports, Negative and Mitigated Negative Declarations, and their NEPA equivalents
- Confer and advise with public agency staff, architects, builders, attorneys, contractors, engineers, and the general public regarding development and environmental issues
- Negotiation resolution of complex environmental and regulatory issues relating to a wide variety of environmental and development issues, including Army Corps, Fish & Game, Fish & Wildlife, Regional Water Boards, etc.
- Providing inspection and reporting services associated with project requirements, including mitigation monitoring and reporting programs
- Preparation of public hearing presentations and representing clients at Planning Commission, City Council, and other committees and boards
- Provide alternate solutions when beneficial to achieve compliance with established goals of environmental review documents
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Producing engineering estimates and critical path scheduling for public works associated with development projects
- Providing peer review of engineering documents and estimates prepared by others
- Producing engineering reports for community facilities and assessment districts
- Creating and executing project work plans, w/ revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identification of resources needed and corresponding assignment of individual responsibilities
- Management of day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope
- Review deliverables prepared by others before passing to client
- Effective application of established methodology and enforcement of project standards
- Establish and maintain critical path work schedules and milestone coordination
- Minimize exposure and risk on project
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
